Understanding Tarot Spread Illustrations: More Than Just Pretty Pictures

The use of tarot cards is a very interesting dimension of the occult. Basically associated with the gypsies, this is an amazing portal through which you can catch a glimpse of your past, present or future as you per your desire. The tarot spread illustrations are not only vivid and eye catching, but also adept storytellers of bits and pieces of your life. For the beginner, interpreting what the tarot cards are saying can be a daunting task. Though you can find the meaning of each card easily on the Internet or with the help of books, a reading is more than just calling out what each card means.

Each detail of the tarot spread illustrations has a story to tell; each element projects the past, present or future with spectacular accuracy, provided you know how to read it. The question therefore, is how to learn to read these illustrations correctly. Since there is no best or preferred tarot card spread, this question is quite difficult to answer. Veteran psychics choose their spreads according to their feelings at the particular moment when they are requested for a reading. Some, develop expertise in one particular spread such as the Celtic Cross, and use it exclusively for all readings. The ability of you recognizing and interpreting the tarot cards correctly depends mainly on two major factors: (1) experience, and (2) intuition or psychic ability.

When you speak of experience, this is something you draw on as the years pass by. Every reading that you do, adds to the overall lesson because no two readings would ever mean the same. The tarot spread illustrations say a different tale every time you cast them as your attention would be drawn involuntarily to different aspects of the spread, as the case may be. With time, your tuning to your inner self would grow stronger allowing you to “feel” what the cards are trying to tell you. Many excellent psychics felt that in the beginning they were not attuned well enough to their sixth sense and therefore were unable to “see” the predictions accurately. The time that it takes to accept and draw upon these powers, depend from person to person. While for some it may be a short 2-3 year period, others take decades before they come into their elements.

The intuition is important because this is what actually tells the story, not the cards. The latter are just a means to an end. Anyone can lay a Celtic Cross spread and read out the meaning of each card. However, this is not the whole story; often, this would not even be the tip of the iceberg. The intuition is what makes the psychic understand the language of cards and translate it for you. The tarot spread illustrations is nothing but a fun game, without the sixth sense of the psychic. This is the hidden ingredient, which is able to draw the complete and accurate picture from a spread.

Nobody says it is easy to be a psychic; on the other hand, it is not too difficult either. If you have these two basic ingredients, nothing can stop you from becoming a successful psychic.

GENERAL PYPE

Don’t be deceived by his dreadlocks, he is not a Rastafarian; rather he is referred to as prolific youth Positive Entertainer (PYPE), a name given to him by his manager due to his versatility in music and arts in total.

Christened Olayiwola Majekodunmi, General PYPE (stage name) developed his passion for music in the late 80’s. He started out with a private Choir named Triumphant Coral Voices headed by Mike Ohiri. There he learnt the rudiments of music and the act of singing, specifically he sang Base.

After some years with the Triumphant Coral voices, PYPE decided to withdraw from the Choir in order to discover his other sides of music aside the Classical music which he was used to. This led him to his discovery of different genres of music in which fortunately for him he could fit in.

In 2003, he became a professional Artiste, performing live at events, concerts, and doing studio collabos with both renowned and upcoming artistes.

Though he has a wide repertoire of written songs, the Prolific Entertainer says he feels better performing live as it gives him the opportunity to express his creativity, adding that he has stopped writing songs for now.

In an interview with Goodlife, PYPE revealed that he did about 85 collabos last year, all songs mostly done as freestyle. He further added that he has done collabos with almost all Nigerian Artistes, both popular and upcoming because music for him is not all about money, he just wants to be happy doing what he loves doing.

He recently featured in Keffi’s album which was released December last year, and also MI’s TEASER which is currently making waves across media airwaves in Nigeria. The song is also Rhythm 93.7fm hit song of the week.

The dreadlocks artiste also hinted that though he has 3 recorded songs titled keep it cool, Get Lost, and Stammarer (afrobeat) already making waves, his album of about 15-18 tracks is about 90% ready. PYPE therefore urges his fans to get ready for his different moods in the soon to be released album.

On his take about the Nigerian music industry, he says though the industry is growing fast, it still has a slave mentality, and expresses hope that things would get better in future.

General PYPE further adds that his desire is to make a positive statement with his music, giving music a new face of entertainment and to be able to rank in the same profile with top International artistes through his brand of music and his new Management Company, Podium Worldwide Entertainment.

On his dreadlocks, he says, it’s got nothing to do with his current style of dancehall music, because music is not about the style of your hair, its much more than that. Back to the dreadlock story, PYPE revealed that growing up as a boy, he had never really liked cutting his hair and don’t like the idea of braiding, so 4 years ago he decided to stop cutting his hair.

For him God and his friends are his inspiration. He also expresses his gratitude to his family for their support, especially his mum who bought him his first guitar.

Aside music the talented artiste also carves, and has an eye for Arts.

Playing Guitar Hero - The Easy Way

Rocking to the beats of guitar is really exciting. But the excitement multiplies when you play your favorite numbers on the guitar and make others dance to the tune. Guitar hero, the music video game, can cater to your enthusiasm of playing the well known songs on the guitar. It is a rhythm-based video game that you can play on a PS2, PS3, XBOX 360 or NintendoWii with which you use a guitar-shaped peripheral to play with the rock music songs.

Wondering How to play a guitar hero? Well, you need nothing more than knowledge of at least few of the songs present in the game, sense of music, a little bit of patience and your skilled fingers to play the instrument. You need to match the notes that are displayed on the screen playing the controller in time to score points. The game imitates some of the features of playing the real guitar such as hammer-ons and pull-offs. But, once you know the techniques of playing the game you will enjoy the game yourself and entertain your virtual audience as well.

Know Your Guitar Hero

The tricks of playing guitar hero include some of the playing techniques and approaches. Although this mini guitar is not as complicated as the real guitar, you should to know its features before you start playing with it. You can play a note by pushing or pulling the strum bar. However, the combination of pressing the five fret buttons along with the strum bar determines the real notes. The whammy bar, and the start and select buttons are the other controllers on the instrument.

Staring up with Guitar Hero

After connecting the guitar to your gaming console, you will find a few options on the screen such as Career, Quick Play, Multiplayer, Training and Options. The real fun of the game lies in `Career` where you can play 35 different songs with four levels of difficulties. Completion of each set of songs takes you to the next level helping you accumulate kudos and cash. With `Quick Play` option you can play the songs that you have unlocked on `Career`. However, there are 10 unlocked songs by default. Your earning on `Career` will allow you to purchase new unlockable songs.

You need to use two controller plugged-ins in order to access `Multiplayer`. You can also find multiple ways of playing with Guitar Hero 2 and 3. The Face-off splits the songs allowing two players to play the song in Quick Play mode. However, if you are playing with Guitar Hero 3 you can use the `battle power` and attempt to make other players fail. It is recommended that you use the `Tutorial` to know how to play the game. If you want to change any setting, you can do that from the `Option`. If you are using PS2, you can opt for a memory card to save your high score.

Playing the Guitar Hero

Picking the simplest song is the best way to start playing your favorite guitar hero game. Scrolling the fret board on the screen and pressing the corresponding fret buttons on the guitar is the key to success in this game. You can increase your score multiplier by stringing together 10 successive notes. The use of the number of colored buttons depends on the easy, medium or difficult mode of the game. You can also use some advanced techniques such as star power, hammer-ons and pull-offs, squeezing and whammying in the guitar hero game.

Once you master the skill of the game, you can rock and roll with your guitar hero.

How to play slots, lose money and have the best time of your life! Slot machine tips, tricks and urb

You walk into a casino. You are bedazzled by the lights, the colors, the people - oh, the money! You decide to warm up next to a slot machine. You pick the perfect one. It’s next to the entrance (and you got an insider tip that the best chance of winning is with those machines) you sit down and open your wallet. You place your bet, pull the lever once, twice, but nothing happens. You try and press the button instead. Yes! You’ve just won 5 bucks. Good. You are on a streak. You win some, then you loose some then you get up. An old lady sits by the machine, your machine, puts in a quarter and you already know what is going to happen next. Yes. 7-7-7 and you want to kill yourself.

First of all - don’t. Think of how killing yourself would limit your winning chances. Then try to internalize that slot machines aren’t for making money. The only purpose they serve is to feed your recreation needs. All of the stories about grandmas that won millions on the penny machines? They might be true. But those grannies spent a good 30 years of their lives on the machines, while you were out there, enjoying your business. There are a few things to remember when you approach the slots. You might call them tips, you might call them hope, but they sure worth the read.

1. When that old lady made that spin and won a whole bunch of shiny coins - it wasn’t your win. You have had to hit the machine at the same exact fraction of the second that she did in order to get that money. You have more chances of winning the lottery.

2. Take your time. There is no Play per Minute rate of success. Doesn’t matter how fast you feed the machine - your chances still relay on one factor only and her name is lady luck.

3. Hit the button or pull the lever? Some prefer the old school method. Some go for high-tech. The casino goes for your money anyway.

4. Here’s a sure way to win - order a free drink. And order an expensive one. If you lost some dollars on slots, why not spoil yourself with a fine, triple bourbon on the house?

5. This one might actually work - try and bet the max amount. There are more winnable combinations with higher bets and they are always better.

6. The loose machines myth. Some say that the loose machines are placed by the casino near the entrance, cashiers, bar or anywhere near people who are not playing, in order to get them to see winners and motivate them to play. I say that there’s a better chance of finding loose screw in the casino manager’s head.

7. That card you stick in there, well ye, it’s actually money. Casinos are using machine credit cards on a nation that already has way more credit over its head. The fact that you don’t put green paper in the machine doesn’t mean that you are not gambling with real, hard earned money. Know your limit and get out while you still can. You might even be able to afford buying some roses to your wife.

Oh, and last but not least! Practice! This is the best advice we can give you. The more you practice at home on slots - the more chances you get at a casino. Naaa… We’re just messing with you. But if you are an addict and you just want to play for fun and want to loose less money, or you really want to know what’s going on inside a slot machine.

- go online to www.pokerchest.com and get the game going over at your place. Charge your friends, charge your kids, or just decorate your manly-man basement with a new and shiny slot machine. At www.pokerchest.com you can also find notable items such as custom poker chips, playing cards, dice, casino tables and tabletops, storage cases, and much more. Click on www.pokerchest.com and browse the online store, and most important - good luck to ya!
